This course is required for DFLL students and elective for students in the neuro-cognitive studies program; others interested in registering for or auditing the course should speak with the professor on the first day of class.

Course Description

In this introductory-level course, we will investigate the basic theories and methods of the different core sub-fields of linguistics including phonetics, phonology, morphology, typology, and psycholinguistics, and historical linguistics.

Karen Chung 史嘉琳老師 will be teaching Fall semester of this course; all students enrolled in her class MUST take Spring semester with Prof. Gao Zhao-ming 高照明老師
